Boulders Retreat is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and is just a few minutes’ walk to the Boulder Beach headland. Spend endless summer days at the beach, explore the rock-pools with the kids, surf the many breaks along the coastline, or enjoy stunning coastal walks to Lennox Beach to the north or Sharpes Beach to the south. During winter months, Boulder Beach provides the perfect location to watch the whales migrate along the North Coast.

Relax in sun-loungers by the pool after long days at the beach and enjoy the setting sun in the backyard. Dine alfresco at the outdoor table with private BBQ. Boulders Retreat is perfect for small families, friends or a romantic getaway.

There is another apartment above which is rented separately, however the guests of Boulders Retreat have exclusive use of the pool.

Entry is down the right hand side of the house, the apartment is located downstairs at the back of the house.

Living/Dining
Designed for a relaxing indoor-outdoor lifestyle, Boulders Retreat features open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with air conditioning which flows outside to the pool area through self-closing sliding doors for added child safety. A washing machine is also provided in the kitchen area.

Cooking
The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing snacks and meals with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, electric stove top and oven. A coffee machine is also provided for the morning pick-me-up.

Sleeping
The master bedroom is open and spacious and features large plantation shutters and a sliding door opening to the outdoor dining area. The master room has a ceiling fan and the bunk room has a pedestal fan for added comfort during summer.

Bedding configuration (sleeps 4):

• Master bedroom: 1 x king bed (can be made as 2 king single beds)
• Bedroom 2: 1 x king single bunk bed
• A porta cot, high chair, change table and stroller can be provided on request and with advance notice.

Bathrooms
The bathroom features a shower and toilet.

Outdoor/Pool
Cool off in the in-ground swimming pool or relax for hours with a good book in the sun-loungers. The pool also offers a kiddie pool area (note this is not a spa) for added enjoyment and safety. Retreat to enjoy the sunset with a refreshing drink while cooking up the BBQ beside the outdoor dining area while the kids play in the fully-fenced yard.

Parking
There is 2 off-street car spaces available.

Location
Boulders Retreat at Skennars Head is in a convenient location just a 5 minutes’ drive to Lennox Head and Ballina and a 20 minute drive to Byron Bay. Also close by are villages such as Bangalow and Newrybar which provide a scenic destination for lunch, shopping and farmers markets.

A 10 minute stroll to Sharpes Beach will allow you to access some of the finest coffee the area has to offer, open mornings all week (excluding Tuesdays). Food trucks also often set up in the beach carpark.
